Here’s an article the NYPost ran during “Survivor 2,” that explains why the universe loathed Jerri Manthey.
Jerri has done a number of different post-game-type Survivor podcasts, but her most recent (and I believe ongoing) is with AfterBuzz TV, which you can find here.
I don’t know where I pulled the number “88” from, but Big Tom lasted a total of 73 days in the game, which is still pretty damn impressive by just about any standards. On a side note, the number “88” is text slang for “good-bye” in Mandarin Chinese.
According to this random map I found, Marquesas is 3000 miles from everywhere. (It looks like it might be fairly close to New Zealand, though. If you believe in New Zealand.)

Yes, camping is available in Virgin Islands National Park, but according to the National Park Service’s website, it seems minimal (for a National Park, that is).
