Iron Man 3 News: New Villain Casting Plus Japanese Trailer

In a surprising bit of casting news, Chinese actor Wang Xuequi is set to play “Dr. Wu” when shooting begins in Beijing on Monday. Wang Xuequi is a popular Chinese star that has appeared in important Chinese films like Yellow Earth and Forever Enthralled, so he’ll certainly help sell tickets in China.

The role of “Dr. Wu” is reported to be a small one, according to Deadline, but this could just be an introduction for a later storyline. The mysterious “Dr. Wu,” Marvel likes to use aliases, is thought to be Chen Lu, the real identity of the villain Radioactive Man. How important his role in this flick or where it may lead is still up in the air, as Marvel is keeping the week long Beijing shoot under tight security.
